I love you soooo Matcha! Finally got the matcha cotton candy cloud floss ice cream. I tried to get this flavor this summer while I was here in London, and it was always sold out. I guess during the fall, not many are craving ice cream like this cotton candy fanatic and lover of sweets I am does. This place is sure IG heaven during the summer with their cute decor. Will have to show some latergrams about that some other time. ⠀

My sisters all left to Cuba yesterday with my niece and nephew and I was feeling so sad because I wanted to go on this trip since we been talking about it for years. Traveling has been put on the backburner for now but I am extremely grateful for opportunity I have now and will make the most of it. Cheers to the beginning of the holidays and can't wait to celebrate with my family in a few weeks in NYC.⠀

Hello my lovelies, I personally Love London when it starts preparing for the holidays. Yesterday was my first time to actually step out of my school work and take a mental breather to explore the city and see Xmas decor. Crazy how time is flying and all I have been doing is concentrating in school work that I kept forgetting how many beautiful places London has to be explored each season. I apologize in advance for the long post and for my silence on IG for the last couple of months. Thank you so much for everyone that called, emailed, DM, and reached out to see if I was fine. I am totally doing great and happier than ever. I needed this break to get my life in order and focus on pursuing a goal I have had since God knows when!⠀
⠀
That goal was to apply for my Masters in Footwear at the London College of Fashion. After my 2 months of traveling in Europe I landed in NYC in August. I gave up social media and tackle down the application process and portfolio. After a a couple weeks of waiting, I had my interview and was offered placement on the spot. I GOT IN! ⠀
⠀
Then, it was off to the waiting game of filling out lots of paperwork, financials and the visa process (I will admit, it was scaring me so much since the UK border patrol and me don't have the best relationship as I have tons of stamps from going back and forth these past 2 years in November). Crazy what happens when you put your goals on your vision board and all you could do is keep pinching yourself that is finally happening and you are living that DREAM. ⠀

Anyways guys, I am back and my account will start looking a bit different as It will show more of my life in London and lots of stories of the work, research, fashion, museum visits, projects I am doing plus travels of course. ⠀

NYC will always be home and I will be back and forth as usual. NYC, I love you and will see you in a couple months. I seriously miss my family and friends more than anything.⠀

In 1811 Cartagena became one of the first cities in Colombia to declare independence from Spain, backed up by a group called the "Getsemani Lancers", which continued to resist the Spanish until independence was won in 1821. By then, Getsemani was home to craftsmen, freed slaves and merchants, and the area became known as the “popular quarter.” ⠀
