FULL SERVICE DECORATING:
This option is for clients living in Southern California. With full service decorating Van Rozeboom Interiors manages all aspects of your project, from design concept to final installation, and keeps a steady eye on your budget along the way.
STEP ONE *INITIAL CONSULTATION *
We'll meet or speak on the phone for our initial consultation which, by the way, is complimentary. We'll discuss your project and my design philosophies and practices. This time is for us to get to know one another and find out if we're a good fit.
STEP TWO *CONTRACT*
Next we'll discuss the project's budget, timeline and design fee. The contract keeps us all on the same page and avoids miscommunication. A signed contract and a 10% retainer fee are required at this stage.
STEP THREE *EVALUATION*
At this point, measurements and photos are taken of your interior. We'll discuss what activities take place in the space, as well design elements that you'd like to change or keep. Your style, favorite colors, materials and the desired mood all serve as input for the overall design.
STEP FOUR *DESIGN*
Now comes the magic! I begin to create a design for your space based on our consultations. During the design process you will receive weekly updates on the progress via email and telephone. Once I've created your plan, we'll meet in person. I'll present the design concept, which includes pricing, drawings, photos, and samples or swatches of any recommended materials. Any tweaks will be discussed before your final approval.
STEP FIVE *EXECUTION*
Once you approve the proposal with your signature and a 60% deposit, I order furnishings and materials, schedule labor, and continue to provide weekly updates on your project status. I'll be there every step of the way. When everything arrives at the warehouse, I personally supervise delivery and installation.
STEP SIX *FINAL TOUCHES*
It's time to ice the cake! Remember, a room isn't complete until it's accessorized. I'll help you implement the finishing touches to make the room uniquely yours. Once everything is in place, I'll take final photographs and the balance will be paid in full.

WHAT IS E-DECORATING?
E-Decorating works wonderfully for clients who live outside Southern California. All you need is access to a computer. Whether you're working on one room at a time or would like a new look for your entire home, E-Decorating is a great option. No matter what your budget or location, we can create interiors you'll love living in!
WHAT DO YOU GET?
You'll receive a design plan, image board, furniture placement plan and a shopping list.
The design plan overviews a step-by-step process to bring your room to life. The image board may include furniture selections, lighting choices, art and accessories, fabric and paint color options, flooring materials, and repurposed items you already own. A furniture placement plan accompanies the image board to help you envision the space. Finally, the complete shopping list for all recommended items includes links for you to purchase the items yourself, and/or information on how to order items that may be "to the trade" only.
You'll receive everything needed to decorate your dream room yourself! Or, if you'd like, I can do all purchasing for you, as well as schedule delivery and installation. This would be billed at the designer hourly rate.
If you would like changes to the design plan, I'm happy to continue tweaking it at my standard hourly rate.
HOW DO WE START?
- To get started, email me at email@example.com. I'll ask you to fill out my design questionnaire, as well as send me 2-4 low resolution images and the measurements of the room. If the room is very complicated, I may ask you to draw out a basic sketch of the room. Also, to get a better idea what you are looking for, please include 6 links or images that best represent your inspiration for the room. All communication is electronic, nothing is mailed.
After I receive your input, I'll begin designing your space. Each room takes approximately 2 weeks to design, and I design one room at a time. If your project involves multiple rooms, we'll discuss a time line before any designing begins.
Living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, home office: $400*
Bathrooms, hallways, entryways, breakfast rooms: $250
*Combined rooms (living room/kitchen, for example) are billed as individual rooms.
A LA CARTE:
Paint and/or Color Selection (includes 3 options): $60
Space Plan (3 floor plans are created based on your existing furniture): $60
General window treatment or flooring/rug questions: $30
TRADE ONLY FURNISHINGS:
Trade only furniture and accessories are available through Van Rozeboom Interiors. Please let me know if you are interested in this option when you submit your questionnaire, and I'll include them in your shopping suggestions. I purchase to the trade furnishings for you and they are shipped to you at retail cost.
Payment is due in full along with the required input materials before any designing begins. I accept checks and Paypal. All designs are non-refundable. However, if you have more questions or need any extra help on the room, please let me know within two weeks after receiving the completed design plan. More guidance (including research, phone calls, and emails) can be provided for an additional $50/hour.

HOME DECOR ADVICE AND CONSULTATION:
This option is for DIY-ers with a strong sense of style who don't want the full involvement of an interior designer. You may just want some suggestions, inspiration or instructions on how to accomplish a new look on your own.
We'll meet to talk through your design dilemmas, needs and wants. There is no limit on how many questions you can ask! This is YOUR time to get a designer's point of view. I'll give advice on everything from furniture layouts to paint colors and lighting selections. This service costs $100 and usually lasts between 1 and 2 hours. If more time is required, then the designer hourly fee will be applied.
