Dare to be Pink at Kips Bay

Diana Vreeland, one of my all time favorite style icons once said “I adore that

PINK

! It's the navy blue of India!” With that being said, I must confess that I  have an addiction and it's with the color

PINK

! I know for sure I am not the only one that has this color obsession as while looking at some of the

Kips Bay Decorator Show House

pictures, I saw a lot of the interior designers using this lovely color in their spaces. I can't wait to go later this week and witness all of this

PINK

phenomenon in person. I say no matter your gender, don't be afraid to use

PINK

and introduce them to your space be in in the walls, a pillow, a chair, or even some pink drapes.

Gold and Pink complement each other together, I have been dying to do some graffiti inspired walls in my apartment, I might have to tackle this as a weekend project, what do you guys think?

Love the Amanda Nisbet  printed watercolor graffiti fabric walls called Pink Lemonade.

I am obsessed with this Marilyn Minter bold photograph.

Love the Ram head Urn against the Lucite table.

My little teenage sister Ashley would love this room as she loves E.T. and loves giraffes.  This room is by Interior Designer Harry Heismann. This Cherbet Cobra was once owed by Elton John.

E.T. brings so many childhood memories...I think this room can be a little scary for a child, but I love the whimsical details of it.

Wayne Nathan Studio did a beautiful job with the blush pink above chair and the bright fuchsia table below.

Part of Celerie Kemble's room...I am loving the long pink stripe chaise.

I can't wait to go this weekend and show you guys my own pictures full of details.

"Dare to be

bold

, and use

PINK

"
