Brunch at Jean Georges Restaurant at The Mark Hotel

On a very hot summer Saturday my friends and I met for brunch at

Jean Georges

 restaurant at

The Mark Hotel

in the Upper East Side. It was good catching up with

Yen

and

Gisela

as we had a long time without meeting.  Yen is in NYC for the summer from Toronto and Gisela is waiting for the arrival of her twins...so excited for her! Our brunch was delicious, especially my Grilled Chicken sandwich.  After having brunch we decided to go to Central Park's SummerStage to see different artist perform in the Latino Alternative Conference.

Orchids are my favorite flowers so I had to take up close pics of them...aren't these gorgeous? I also love love the branding and marketing behind the Mark Hotel which is done by one of the best branding and design companies in NYC-

Pandiscio

. Their roster is sick with well known hotels and real estate companies.

1. Yen had the Grilled Tuna Burger- Shiso and Yuzu Pickles

2. I had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich- Ciabatta bread, Avocado and Chipotle Dressing

3. Gisela had the Tagliatelle Pizza-Mozzarella, Tomato and Basil

4. Fries

French interior designer Jacques Grange is the mastermind behind The Mark Hotel decor.  I personally loved the lobby with the black and white stripe marble floor.   It makes a statement as soon as you walk in and give you the "wow" effect. Make sure you stop by The Mark Hotel next time you are in the area!!! I actually want to see if I can stay there a couple days in the near future.
