The Surf Lodge in Montauk

This past July 4th weekend, my friend Lorena from

Travel Designery

invited me to the Hampton's where we had an splendid good old time.  On Sunday we went to Fort Pond in Montauk for brunch at The Surf Lodge.  This restaurant/hotel has a really cool surf lifestyle vibe designed by

Robert McKingly

who has done a lot of the coolest spots in NYC like Cain, The GoldBar, Felice and PM.  The ambiance is super relaxing, with good music, food, and decor.  Unfortunately it rained the day we were there, so we couldn't enjoy the breathtaking views of the sunset over the pond.

The chef at The Surf Lodge is hunk

Sam Talbot

who was a contestant on Bravo's Top Chef and is also the chef at the Mondrian's Imperial No. 9 restaurant in New York which is designed by Benjamin Noriega Ortiz which I blogged about before

here

.

Most of us ordered the Raisin French Toast and the Lobster Rolls.  The parfait was absolutely delicious, I highly recommend it!

After brunch, we went inside to enjoy our drinks.

If you need some beach wear, make sure to check the 200 square feet store

The Surf Bazaar

which carries everything you need to look stunning on the beach.  You can find the Surf Bazaar brand and another 30 designers dresses, swimwear, shorts, beach bags and jewelry.
